Arsenal fc needed about £100m this summer to sign James Madison from Leicester City.
After Lester praised the stellar midfielder, Mikel Arteta’s team may have to sell some players to raise money.
According to Express Sport, the players (by market value) the shooter can win this summer and raise £100m are as follows:
Joe Willock – £25m
Arsenal have agreed to sell Joe Willock to Newcastle United. The departure of the 21-year-old will cost Arsenal approximately £ 25 million and will require significant fundraising.
Alexandre Lacazette – £25.2m
Lacazette the Number 9 is not a guaranteed starter and West Ham is said to be interested in the 30-year-old. Arteta will gladly accept £ 25million to sign players that will nearly double in three years.
Hector Bellerin – £22.5m
Hector Bellerin The right-back received £35m last summer but is now approaching £20m. Go to Italy.
Granit Xhaka – £19.8m
Granit Xhaka the Swiss player appears to have been heading to Rome in early summer, but the deal fell through. It looks like he’s there now, but if the offer for the international Xhaka comes from somewhere else, Emirates Stadium will want to close the deal.
Mohamed Elneny – £9m
The Egyptian player was loaned to Besiktas for the 2019/20 season. Alnie was not a player that the club would fight with all their might. These five departures should have provided Arsenal with enough money to move Leicester to Madison.
