According to reports, Chelsea have made contact with Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski’s representatives ahead of a possible summer move.
The Blues have already started looking for a new striker ahead of next season’s start, and the Poland international is one of their top targets.
Chelsea have enquired about Lewandowski’s availability, according to Sky Sport News in Germany, and are trying to convince him to come to the Premier League and join Stamford Bridge.
If he were to leave the Bundesliga this summer, the 32-year-old is said to want a move to Spain, but he is also happy to remain in Germany.
If a deal for Lewandowski cannot be reached, the Blues can turn their attention to other players such as Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Braut Haaland, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, and Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku.
Lewandowski has continued to impress in front of goal this season, scoring 47 goals in just 39 appearances in all competitions.
