Report: Marquinhos Expected to be Available for PSG’s Champions League Fixture Against Manchester City

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos remains as the team’s lone notable injury concern at the moment. Marquinhos has been out of action since being an early exit in PSG’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal first leg fixture against Bayern Munich due to an adductor injury.

The PSG team captain has progressed well as of late from the injury. He made a long-awaited return to a PSG collective training session late last week and has since made promising progress from the injury, although he did go on to miss the side’s Ligue 1 away fixture against Metz.

For the moment, all signs are pointing towards Marquinhos being available for PSG’s upcoming Champions League semifinal first leg fixture against Manchester City, as noted by RMC Sport.

Kylian Mbappe is PSG’s other injury concern, although he is only dealing with a minor blow suffered during the recent fixture against Metz. Mbappe is expected to be fully fit and available to take on Manchester City.

PSG heads into the fixture still aiming for a potential treble-winning campaign.
